I took a walk
down the memory lane..
I found some
happy memories
which brought a smile
onto my lips..
I found some
sad memories
which brought a tear
into my eyes..
Then I found some memories
about you
which left me bewildered
not knowing
whether to smile or to cry...

When I was small
my sister came and asked me
Do you like to play?
I said
No I don't.
When I was a teen
my mother came and asked me
Do you like to cook?
I said
No I don't.
When I was in my youth
my friends came and asked me
Do you like to go on a picnic?
I said
No I don't.
When I was in my middle age
my co-workers came and asked me
Do you like to retire and be with your family?
I said
No I don't.
And now
When I am in my old age
life itself came and asked me
Do you like to go back in life and do
what you earlier refused to do?
I said
Yes I do....

People thought that
man could never fly
People said that
man will never go to the moon
People believed that
robots would never be a reality
But today all the above have taken place
So never say never
because in this
strange world
anything is possible...

I am amazed about myself
The way I control my feelings
The way I hide my true sentiments
The way I act as if there is nothing wrong
when
actually nothing seems to be right
The way I smile when my heart is ripping apart
The way I act cool when everything around me
is falling apart
The way I pretend not to understand anything
when I completely understand what is going on
The way I ignore things which I know
are of great importance
The way I act as a naive child when
I am really a matured person
I am amazed about the amazing things I do
even without realizing
how amazing they are
