Finally I have learnt my lessons

I have learnt that
if you wait for
all your  problems to end
you will have to wait forever

I have learnt that
just because you are
nice to the society
it wont be nice to you

I have learnt that
people change over time
no matter how much you
beg them not to

I have learnt that
you must be ready to be hurt
if you trust people
more than they deserve

I have learnt that
even though the
whole world is around you
some battles have to be fought alone.........

A crying heart

Why did you leave me
I don't have any clue
You shattered all my dreams
But I still love you......

When my world was filled with tears
you gave me strength to carry on
Now when I mostly need your support
you have left me forever and gone...

Every day I sit by my window
hoping to see you passing by
when ever your memories cross my mind
my heart breaks down and makes me cry...

When ever I think of those lovely days
my heart fills up with a lot of pain
But I know I have to bear it up
because its clear that you'll never come again.....

That is all I need

I am not asking for all the stars in the sky.....

I am not asking for all the luxuries in life....

I am not asking for all the happiness in the world....

I am not asking for the best of everything....

All I need is a little bit of peace of mind and a happy ending to all my problems...

Is that too much to ask?????????

Down the memory lane

I took a walk
down the memory lane..
I found some
happy memories
which brought a smile
onto my lips..
I found some
sad memories
which brought a tear
into my eyes..
Then I found some memories
about you
which left me bewildered
not knowing
whether to smile or to cry...

When I was small
my sister came and asked me
Do you like to play?
I said
No I don't.
When I was a teen
my mother came and asked me
Do you like to cook?
I said
No I don't.
When I was in my youth
my friends came and asked me
Do you like to go on a picnic?
I said
No I don't.
When I was in my middle age
my co-workers came and asked me
Do you like to retire and be with your family?
I said
No I don't.
And now
When I am in my old age
life itself came and asked me
Do you like to go back in life and do
what you earlier refused to do?
I said
Yes I do....
